“Woody Woodpecker sat in the middle of a pile of boxes, bags and barrels. “I’m tired of my job,” he sighed. “All day I make holes in life preservers. All night I make holes in doughnuts. What I need is a change…” reads the first page.

Very good condition. No tears, rips or missing pages. The cover is in good condition too with just some wear on the top of the spine. The inside cover ‘belongs to’ area is blank.

Fair condition with a corner tear on the first page (as seen in image 4) and wear on the cover. However, there are no pages missing and the spine is good with the rest of the pages having no rips or tears. The front ‘belongs to’ area is blank.

From the magical world of A Little Golden Book, we offer the classic: Heidi. Nineteenth printing, copyright 1981 from original adaption of Johanna Spyri’s 1880 classic story, Heidi, has been especially illustrated for Golden Books by Corinne Malvern.

Our copy is in fine condition with no tears, rips or missing pages. The front cover shows some wear but the pages are very good condition. The inside “Belongs To” is written in.

Dated 1948, we offer this vintage “A Little Golden Book” entitled Up In The Attic, A Story A, B, C. With both black & white and color illustrations, it tells the story of a boy – “…his name is Ted. One night, when he ought to have been in bed, he went instead to the attic.” Each page tells about Ted’s adventure going through the alphabet and emphasizing a word that begins with each letter.

Fair Condition. One small crayola mark on the “B” page and a name written in the front in pencil, are the only marks. The cover is quite worn but acceptable. The spine is loose but still holding together. No tears or pages missing.

Perfect nostalgic little book for anyone seeking a copy of this title!

Good condition. Cover jacket a bit worn but all pages are in tact with no rips, tears, marks, or missing pages.

Hardy Boys Series

The Hardy Boys series was an offspring from the Dime Novels that began in 1860! The first 58 stories of the Hardy Boys series covered 1927-1979. Then, between 1959 and 1973 the first 38 volumes of this series were systematically revised by individuals who wrote, edited, and revised each book in the series under the collective pen name of Franklin W. Dixon, as part of a project directed by Harriet Adams, Edward Stratemeyer’s daughter.

Of the latter revised series we have: The Sinister Signpost, The Mark on the Door, The Crisscross Shadow, The Yellow Feather Mystery, Footprints Under the Window and The Twisted Claw.

The spines are in good condition with only one of them with soiled edges. One has a bent corner on the cover and they all have some edge wear. But, overall, they are in good vintage condition with no tears, marks or missing pages.

1966 Thornbush Jungle Book

Written by Colorado writer Rutherford G. Montgomery and illustrated by Lorence Bjorklund, the combination of good writing and skillful pencil drawings enhance this tale as the main character, Jody Carson, learns about life in the American West of Texas.

Hardback. 159 pages in good condition. Light wear to cover edges and corners. This was acquired from a Second Hand store and has “Meeker Elementary” stamps inside on inside cover and another front page. Some markings on front page but not throughout book. No tears or rips.
