Collectible and pretty Vaseline Opal Frolicking Bear Cuspidor (or spittoon) by Fenton.

Stamped on bottom: “ICGA-2001″ This was the ‘souvenir’ of the 35th International Carnival Glass Association convention at the Embassy Suites North in Indianapolis IN from July 17 to July 22 2001. Each year since 1968 the ICGA meets and presents a new collectible piece to the attendees as a souvenir. The convention was only attended by 243 who came from 24 states and Canada, so the circulation of this piece is quite limited.

Excellent condition. No cracks chips or repairs of any kind. I’ve found some of the other souvenirs listed online upwards to $150. I haven’t found another one listed from the 2001 Convention. We offer our limited piece of Carnival Glass history for only $45.00!

The design pattern is Fenton’s Butterfly and Berry Pattern which is beautiful berry clusters and butterflies inside and out. In the center of the dish is a big butterfly surrounded by berries and leaves. It rests on three ball and claw feet and the top edge has a sawtooth rim.
