Depression
Glass, from the Great Depression Era, was often given away with a purchase of a
product or service, so by nature it often bears manufacture flaws. Most
collectors know this comes with collecting Depression Glass but new collectors
may not. To read more about specific traditional flaws, Barbara and Jim Mauzy
cover it in their informative book, Mauzy’s Depression Glass.
The
amber Depression Glass dessert bowls we offer, measure 5 inches diameter X 1 ¼ inches
high and are in the Madrid Pattern, made by Federal Glass Company, circa 1932 –
1938. We have three bowls available, in very good condition with no cracks or
chips, at $10 each.
