According to the Encyclopedia of Glass by Mark Pickvet, “Viking Glass Company was an American company established at New Martinsville, West Virginia in 1944 as a result of the purchase of the New Martinsville Glass Company. Viking continued using some of the New Martinsville’s oringinal molds to produce glass tableware and novelty items.” The art glass items produced the following thirty years have become increasingly popular and valuable due to their high quality and unique features.

The art glass #1431 “Amber 6 Petal” fruit bowl we offer, was produced by the Viking Glass Company, circa 1960's, in the popular Epic line.

Measures 6 inches tall and is 9 1/2" diameter. Very good condition with no chips or cracks.
