Little
Women, by American author Louisa
May Alcott, is a classic book to have in your collection. No date on the inside
of the copy we offer but it had to be subsequent to Ms Alcott’s sequels: Little Men and Jo’s Boys,
as they are mentioned at the end of the book. Probably early 1900's.
This novel, published in 1868, is a story about the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the Civil War in America. Much of the content revolves around Ms Alcott's own experiences as a child with her three sisters, Amy, Meg and Beth, as they were lived out in their home in Massachusetts.
Good condition. Hardback. The cover is quite worn and the cloth edges are frayed.
Inside pages have some slight stains but are all there and in fairly good
condition, except pages 125-130 are torn and in need of repair.Measures 7 1/2 inches by 5 inches.
