This vintage beaded crystal snack set made by Hazel Atlas Company as part of the "Orchard Crystal" line, circa 1940's-50’s, offers a fun option for today's entertaining! It is actually called a snack, sip, and smoke party set and the pattern is referred to as "Beads and Ribs." The trays are divided into three compartments; a large one for food, one that holds the cup and one doubling as an ashtray with cigarette holder. They were distributed throughout the country by various vendors including the old reliable Sears and Roebuck.
The tray measures 10 3/4 inches x 6 inches. The cup is squared on the bottom so that it fits well into the cup section and measure 2 1/2 inches high x 2 3/4 inches top diameter, holding approximately 6 ounces. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, this heavy crystal glassware can party for another 70 years! We have two sets available, $12.00 each.
