"BETSEY" is from Boyd's Bears "J.B. Bean And Associates" collection and one of Boyd's "T.J.'s Best Dressed" series, issued in 1997 and retired 2000. Self described as "...distinguished, intelligent and just slightly off-center."
Betsey has a brown fur body with tan felt paw pads. Her nose and mouth are hand stitched in black to match her black button eyes. She is wearing a burgundy red and black plaid button-up dress with black collar, cuffs, pantaloons, and matching plaid bow in her hair. Boyd Bears are hand made and fully jointed.
Measuring 6 inches, Betsey is in excellent condition and includes hang tag with slight wear. Boyd's item #913952. "this is for you, this is the one, the one I knew, would be the best, gee whiz...because it is the best there is..." Cathy Haaf.
