This Avon "Silver Fawn" filled with Sweet Honesty cologne was issued in 1978-79. It is silver coating over clear glass body of little fawn sitting down. The cap is the fawn's head in silver coating as well. This part of the vintage decanter has never been opened and is still in the original plastic.
Measures 2 3/4 inches in height. Excellent condition. Still in box, which is slightly worn.
Collecting
Avon decanters can be one of the best hobbies! They are adorable,
unique, each one creatively depicting a memory or figural and best of
all, they are relatively inexpensive. Putting together entire
collections can be a challenge but a fun adventure.
Tip: When
purchasing an Avon collectible, make sure all the parts are there and
they are the correct
ones! Avon often released an item and the next year re-issued it, only
changing it's colors. For instance, one year the item would have a
gold cap on one color of bottle and the next year, a silver cap on a
different color bottle.
